Who is Outsidemyjournal?

Firstly, hello and welcome.

I’m Elizabeth. I’m in my early twenties, a Gemini, and a middle child. Enough said, right? Growing up, I was always an observer. Because of that, I’ve felt deeply connected to the world around me. Over time, those observations turned into a love for verbal expression, which is just a fancy way of saying I talk a lot.

Since I was sixteen, I’ve been journaling my thoughts, feelings, and observations. Now, as an adult, I’m finally sharing them. This blog is something I’ve always wanted to do. Whenever I write, it feels like there’s an audience reading over my shoulder. And now, I’ve brought one of my biggest fears to life — letting the world in on how I feel, when I feel it. Confronting your emotions is scary enough, but sharing them? That’s a whole other level.

I’ve worked in hospitality, retail, tech, and now finance. But I’ve decided it’s time to put my student loan and my Bachelor of Media to good use by creating this space, my online journal.

This is where I confront my emotions and, hopefully, create a space where others feel a little less alone. I love to talk almost as much as I love to write, and that’s how outsidemyjournal was born. I write about life in all its highs and lows, because sometimes life doesn’t just give you lemons — it squeezes them straight into your eyes.

So, I invite you to read along as I share stories about life, love, relationships, and the occasional random tangent. Most importantly, I hope this becomes a space where you feel seen, heard, and a little less alone.

Thank you for being here. I truly appreciate anyone who supports me on this journey — Liz xx
